Yuva Vikas Society was formed on 24th June, 2015 under the Societies Registration as applicable to NCT, Delhi. YUVA VIKAS SOCIETY (YVS) is to promote National Integration, Youth Empowerment through Skill Development, Advocacy, Community Mobilization and Communication for positive social and behavior change with the values of transparency. YVS makes youth work ready through skill and training, builds their life skills involving personal communication and effective habits coupled with entrepreneurship related skills for long term success in the workplace.

The fast-changing global markets have created a mismatch between existing skills and skills required to avail the job opportunities. This needs remedial action to support skills of young people with the ever expanding and changing job markets. YVS aims to support youth to achieve improved economic, physical and social well-being, and become catalysts for positive change in the nation.

YVS has created awareness of the mammoth work to be done in skilling and established a network of committed activists across the country with a special focus on remote, rural and troubled border areas of the country. YVS is associated with NSDC as Training Partner and implementing PMKVY-2 Scheme of for the skill development.
